my birthday moment

i just celebrated my 19th birthday last feb 18…i really had no plans to celebrate this year..all i’m thinking is just a simple family lunch or dinner just like we used to every sunday…well,it tuned out to be different..

after we heard mass,we just went home and ate lunch there,with the usual home cooked meal…we just stayed at home until the afternoon,sleeping and watching tv..more of a couch potato,that is..It was a good thing for me..anyway,all i really wanted for my birthday is rest and sleep..and i got it! (hehe)..It also made me appreciate more the value of simplicity and living the simple life..it was quite okay..no fuss, no big preparations, no stress…

friends also texted me,greeting me a happy birthday as well as a happy chinese new year..i feel really good that people still remember my special day..

at night.we planned to eat out..on the way to the resto,i wondered why jessica did not greet me that day..she was the one reminding me that my birthday is coming in the past week and she teased me one time to treat her at the restaurant in which we will be eating in that night…i just felt something fishy at that moment but i did not mind it…when we arrived there,we waited for my brother to arrive since he also celebrated his birthday with friends that afternoon..(gosh! kids of today..tsk,tsk..) it was just timely that i checked my cellphone when a friend sent an SMS greeting me for my birthday..then,a i recieved a message from jessica,asking me where i am..i replied and i kinda wondered why…after a few minutes,she arrived along with kai and chessa…turns out it was a surprise party,i guess!

jes was my mother’s accomplice in such short notice..she called her that noon to call up my friends to come over for dinner..too bad only a few came..mals was a bit late but still made it..hehe..some were shy,i guess…

all in all, it was a great night! one thing that added to my enjoyment was the fact that my duty in the psychiatric ward would start at 1 pm the next day..it means,more sleep time!yey!hehe..

It was really a good night..friends and family could really make up your day!

however,im still young and not old..as i was saying, old,is always 50 years older than your age..(hehe) march 2, 2007
