back to basics..

i just came home from california last june 13..i stayed for 16 days there..nothing’s new since i was there just 2 years ago,,mama and i stayed at tito vic and tita tata’s apartment in lancaster…too bad my cousin michelle wasn’t there…although my cousin caren joined us the next week..we had fun..we went to long beach…LA…universal studios (again,and it never fails me)….redondo beach where we ate some humongous crabs, the biggest one i ever tasted so far.. i also picked up some life tips..the trip kinda inspired me a bit more to practice nursing there..not for the kaching, but for merely professional enrichment…blah,blah.. america is so much different than the philippines..it’s nice there..nice places, nice traffic system, nice weather, nice money (hehe!)..but again, ‘pinas is home for all of us..

i just started my last year in nursing school last monday…i’m so happy that i’m classmates with the right people…i can’t afford to be left out or be with the wrong crowd especially on my last year… we were all surprised that 4th year is such a breeze, unlike terrortown…i was just saddened that i have to repeat pharmacology..grr! i hate it! there’s just a little voice in me that says that i just can’t accept it..i feel like i don’t belong in that class! smart and arrogant me! its just that i dont want a hassle…we had our orientation this afternoon after a mind boggling diagnostic test..i know pharma will be difficult with all the drugs to be studied but my hopes are high.. i dont want to screw up again! june 20, 2007
