"dance like nobody’s watching."
.
- that was exactly what i did last monday. i never thought that 6 minutes of dance can make you feel so good. i felt that i was free and it was just pure excitement and bliss, i guess. at first, i was holding back since i was never a dancer and it would only cause me super humiliation, or things as such. it was my first public performance as an awkward dancer and it was in SM city! it was ultimate! nevertheless, i just seized the moment and as said, danced like nobody’s watching!
.
- we danced at SM city last monday as a culmination of our art appreciation class. Sartorius was our name. i just realized that it must have been my sartorius muscle which triggered the burst of prostaglandins when it was drenched by lactic acid secondary to anaerobic mechanism during rehearsals..haha! ok..enough of medical jargons..im supposed to talk about art right??hehe..
.
- days of preparation seemed harder and harder, combined with our routine school activities plus long quizzes. my whole body was aching by the third day of rehearsals. not to mention my hematomas resembling that of a hazing victim! of couse, i’m exaggerating. i was also quite nervous during the lifts. it’s hard to be petite at times since you are most likely to be chosen for the lift routines! but then, it was all worth it! we placed second with a score of 99! go Sartorius! cheers for us! i also enjoyed the company of my groupmates. they made this experience mean more and it was worth remembering. as always, we rehearsed here at my house. its really an advantage to have cultural club dancers in your group. they are truly amazing people, i am almost always amazed with people who do their craft well, especially in arts. i love artsy persons. Art inspires!
.
- Flickers also had the 2nd place with us. Congrats jelai and chessa! we truly are friends..hehe..royalty runs in our veins!
.
- as usual, when i decide to write, its almost always that i have an itsy bitsy bad news or a big one..i fixed my mind that this one will be categorized in the middle and i’m not gonna whine for it for the rest of my life!
.
- last tuesday, we received our pharmacology exam results. and guess what!?! i got 84 out of 85! aaaarrgh! pharmacology never fails to disappoint!
.
- this is one of those it’s-better-to-have-two-mistakes-than-one moment! i got one mistake for a misspelled generic name! it was supposed to be "lindaNE" not "lindaEN"..grrr…i clarified if there was really an "n" since it was only "lindae" which was written in my reviewer. they said, yes..and i asked if i’ll just affix the "n" then..she said yes. so as i understood, i’ll just add "n" to lindae which would make it lindaen. same pronunciation, nothing’s different.. how stupid of me that i did not check a reference! it was only that tuesday which i found out that i got the wrong spelling when i opened the drug handbook!shucks and smuckers!
.
- bottom line: never trust anybody but your instincts!
.
- i learned it a long time ago but my trusting self is just too stubborn to remind me of it! see what i’ve got?? luckily, there would be a repeat exam tomorrow! hah!
.
- seize pharma!!!
